Salary: £29,894 to £39,110 plus £3,466 location allowance

As part of the Met Police Procurement Tender Management team the role holder will play a vital role in project managing the procurement process for all tenders above the OJEU limit including high risk/critical/strategic requirements.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the management and delivery of competitive tender processes across all categories within set timescales
- Manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Ensure that all tenders are carried out in compliance with EU legislation and Metropolitan Police Authority regulations
- Ensure that all contractual agreements entered into with outside organisations meet the MPS objectives in terms of quality, cost, risk and professional practice
- Reduce likelihood of successful supplier challenges to procurements by ensuring documents and processes are compliant with frequently changing legislation and through management of supplier debriefs
- Be able to draft concise contract award reports and briefing papers for submission to senior management and the Metropolitan Police Authority
