Crime and Specialist Ops

The main goal for this policing program is to prevent future crimes and solve those that have already been done. The Force is complete with its own set of uniformed patrols and detective officers and even telephone advisors and dog handlers that work intelligently and effectively in the public. In keeping its mission to entrust matters to those in charged, the area commanders of each head quarters are the ones responsible in the field of Crime Management Services.

The Crime Management Services is split into three:

  • Criminal Investigation
  • Drugs and Specialist Services
  • Intelligence

Corporate and Operational Support

According to the Central Scotland Police, this program was created in order to provide an opportunity for the Force to meet the needs of a continually changing environment and the relentless drive for continuous improvement and maximum efficiency.

In order to maximise the skills, intelligence and resources of the Force, the Corporate and Operational Support includes:

  • Human Resources
  • Asset Management
  • Professional Standards
  • Strategic Development
  • Firearms Licensing
  • Emergency Planning

Communities Policing

Apart from tackling serious criminal matters and continuously improving skills and operations, the Central Scotland Police also dedicates their services to the community which boils down to all the people who reside or visit in the area. Keeping a 24/7 connection with the people is their way of addressing matters quickly and more effectively. Their commitment to community engagement has been their credo in helping out.  Through this, and with the community’s undying support, a safer, more prosperous Central Scotland is made.
